Today, we’ll look at another vibration machine from Tzone Vibration Technology–the VT15.
The Tzone VT15 is the elder brother to the Tzone VT20 in that the control panel uses 3 smaller LEDs that displays the Speed, Time, and Body Fat, compared to the 1 large LCD display, used by its newer, and younger brother, the Tzone VT20.
As with the Tzone VT20, the Tzone VT15 uses a rounded square control panel and a handlebar arrangement that utilizes all 4 corners of the base machine. It feels adequately grounded to the pushing and pulling and has the same tapered handlebars as the VT20. The Tzone VT15 comes with the body fat monitor instead of the pulse monitor that the VT20 gives. The display is extremely similar to the Vmax Fitness i25, 1 LED for the speed, body fat, and time. The VT15 comes preloaded with 8 pre-programmed exercise routines and you can select whichever works for you–all it does is automatically fluctuate the speed settings during your 10 minute session.
As far as power goes, it doesn’t feel any different then the Tzone VT20 which has 99 speed settings. The Tzone VT15 has 70 speed settings and each speed increase gives a frequency increment that is slightly higher then the VT20. Remember, a wider speed selection means you’re getting a smaller frequency increment per speed level. I normally increase the speed setting to approximately 30 to about 50 for my everyday routines. The speed settings offer a wide range of frequencies and should be sufficient for most users with varying fitness levels.
Performing a plank on the platform is no problem, but I do find the handlebar system to be restrictive still if I wanted to perform other exercises with my hands on the platform. The vibration platform is identical to the VT20 at 21″ X 15″ and there shouldn’t be any problems performing most standing exercises.
The Tzone VT15 is very similar to the Vmax Fitness i25 but priced at a higher premium. As with the Tzone VT20, the machine features a rail handlebar system, 70 speed settings, and a good platform size. It is more expensive then other offerings but if you want something that works, then this will work.
