Who Are They
Based in Maywood, California, Vivo Wellness (previous called FBE Wellness) is one of a handful of companies that specifically focuses on single motor oscillating machines. They have 3 solid machines at various price points, each offering a different built to tailor to different demographics. Rarely do you see a company offering a single motor 210 lbs behemoth machine, the shear weight of the Vivo 660 gives you a run for your money! Most users will be satisfied with the Vivo Vibe 460 machine, its the middle of the pack with good solid handles, good length size for the vibrating plate, although 9″ width does eliminate the option to do certain exercise poses, such as feet together standing on one side of the machine with the entire posture oriented side way to stimulate a pure vertical vibration. Overall, machines are nice, solidly built for the Vivo Vibe 460 and the Vivo Vibe 660 models. Warranty is limited to 1 year parts and labor, so this is something to keep in mind.
Vivo Vibe 260
Good entry level machine, styling is based on the original crazy fit form factor, with the side handle bar mounts pushed to the rear so that the hand straps can be attached by the 2 sides of the platform. Upper handle is unique as it provides multiple areas for user to grab on to. Large platform relative to the other models makes this machine a good choice for people that requires larger usable space and more stability support. With a G force under 6, this is good for therapeutic, lymphatic and circulation.
Vivo Vibe 460
A popular machine the stands out from their lineup. This machine provides decent oscillation performance in the middle-upper range of the price scale. With a G force of 12.6, 6 auto programs, and up to 25Hz, this machine can easily satisfies the majority of the population. The base is very heavy so that the machines would stay grounded and doesn’t bounce around at high speed. The narrow platform of 9″ reduces excessive wind and feedback noise (its like a humming sound caused by fast air movements between the platform and the inside the machine’s casing) that some larger high speed platform has.
Vivo Vibe 660
Definitely will give your visitor a “wow” factor if you have one of these in your house. This thing is beastly, at 210 lbs, and a large base, it will arrive at your door fully crated. With a G force in excess of 30 Gs, you need to be carefully when using this machine as incorrect usage will do more harm than good to your body. Definitely seek professional advice for usage instructions specific to this machine. Especially when you set the machine above 25Hz, the raw power output can be excessive if you stand by the platform’s edges. At this speed level and higher, you need to stand closer to the center of the platform to achieve high frequency movements with a lower amplitude for a high intensity workout. This is research ready and pretty much a medical grade unit.
