ELITE 5

The ELITE 5 is the only commercial grade vibration machine in North America that  utilizes both the Oscillation vibration motion and the Triplanar vibration motion. It is a very well built machine that uses steel and fiberglass for the machine’s frame and structural support. Fiberglass is significantly stronger then regular ABS plastic and costs more to manufacturer.

The ELITE 5 is fairly big at 30.3 x 30 x 57.5 in and weighs a whopping 236 lbs. It will support users upto 450 lbs so definitely a machine designed for weight trainers or general home users wanting a very high quality piece of vibration machinery. The platform size is huge. At 30 x 27 in, you can practically do anything on the platform without worrying about the vertical column blocking you. The machine also comes with a dampening mat that reduces the vibration from the Triplanar motion to make it more comfortable for the user. You can also use this mat when you are lying on the platform to act as a cushion. The surface of the platform is a gritted, sand paper type of material. I would recommend wearing socks if you intend to go barefoot. Shoes seem to work very well with the machine as its designed for gym and fitness center uses. Two notches on either side of the machine allows for the included adjustable nylon hand straps to be attached. You can use it to focus on upper body exercises.

The ELITE 5 vibration machine comes with  a main control panel. The LED tells you the vibration speeds and time. It is very minimalistic but works very well if you can do away with extra features of premium home machines. The focus on these commercial machines is durability, robustness, and simplicity.

There are 30 speed settings for the Oscillation and Triplanar vibration motion and you can adjust these freely by pressing the respective + or – buttons. The timer on the machine can go upto 30 minutes or down to 1 minute. You can only adjust the time when the machine is in standby mode. The controls are fairly straight forward. The machine comes with 4 pre-set programs and you can select them with the Up and Down buttons.

The premium oscillation vibration on this machine is very smooth and ramps up to the desired speed over 3-4 seconds–it eliminates the jarring and abrupt startup you’ll find in other machines. It is very accommodating for users with weak knees or hips. Because of the large platform, the oscillation vibration can get really powerful if you stand on the far edges of the machine, its almost like a wide squat position.  Head vibration is very common in Triplanar machines but the ELITE 5  has almost eliminated it even when you stand straight with your legs locked. The vibration feels a lot more localized and you can feel most of it in your calves and thighs.

All in all, the ELITE 5 is a very robust machine that can be used at home, or even commercial settings. It is fairly powerful and large and great for bigger and taller users, or users seeking a highly reliable and simple to use dual vibration motion machine professional grade machine. The large platform allows for greater freedom and endless number of exercises including ones that you need to sit or lie down to perform.
