Dual Vibration
These vibration machines contain two separate vibration motions that can be independently controlled. It is the newest of all types of vibration machines. These vibration machines are more effective and efficient compared to single motion machines. Best for weight management, lymphatic stimulation, improved circulation and pain reduction, developing muscle strength and bone density. Dual vibration machines contain both the oscillation and spiral vibrations. It is sometimes to a Type 3 machine.

Private Label Vibration Machines
Fact is, all the similar looking machines are built by the same factory. Most of them are simply re-branded for reselling. Some companies took the time to make minor cosmetic changes to the machines, such as changing the LED light display color or changing the platform color. Some companies improve on the generic model, such as changing the mounting mechanism for the motors, additional reinforcement bars to further increase the maximum load capacity and stabilize the platform, and also changing the feet cushions used to support the machine. Most of the inside details can’t be seen unless you take the machine apart and inspect the inner workings of the machine. This is why some of these machines differ in price and extra features and options that the manufacturer provides.
We ordered some of these machines and took them apart. First of all, taking these machines apart without permission from the company will void the warranty. Secondly, repeating the same exact disassembling and assembling procedures on 4 identical machines is not fun, so we left most of the grunt work to our mechanic Steve to handle. The end result is that we now know what company uses what component to make their machine faster/slower, which one is able to handle heavier users, which ones uses more/less power, and which ones are safety certified for use in USA/Canada.
Unfortunately, we cannot disclose the specific parts and components used to made these machines publicly, as these are trade secrets that the various brands developed and implemented to make their machine standout from the generic machines. Exposing such trade secrets would jeopardize the research and development efforts (research investment money). However, we can provide a general example of our findings in respects to the motors used in these machines.
Various motor sizes that were pulled from the machines we tested. Notice how different the sizes and shapes are. In one brand, the motor is substantially bigger than the other machines, which allows the platform to handle more weight. While there is this brand that obviously skimped on motor quality, as they used a very small and light weight motor (less weight most likely means a low copper coil count, a simple indicator for a weak motor.)
Pulley with German made bearings, and China stock bearings
Here is another example, all pivotal whole body vibration machines use a mechanical pulley system to drive the platform, just like the picture above on the right. Now, notice the two pulley systems, they are made of very different materials. One is encased in plastic, while the other one is mostly metal. The bearings used in these pulley systems also vary widely. Some companies use China made bearings while some company uses the more expensive Germany made bearings. At first we didn’t even know this variation from the various whole body vibration companies, but when Steve started taking apart the machines, we notice that the smoothness of the pulley systems vary. Some take more effort to make each turn while some turn effortlessly. The interesting thing is that even though some pulleys look identical, the bearings they use are from different companies. Some more search on Google reveals that some bearing brands are major brands (including 2 that uses bearings from Germany) while most uses the standard stock bearings. Price differences for these components are at least 5 folds, and that’s the quality difference. As a typical buyer, there is absolutely no way for you to figure out the quality of the components used in the machine. Even if you walk into the store and ask the sales rep, the majority of them will have no clue on the components used to make the machines. Let alone knowing the quality difference between the individual components.
Another thing to note is that there is a weak correlation on the price of the machine versus the quality of the machine. Which simply means that just looking at price alone does not necessarily mean you are getting the best quality built machine, this is especially true for the look-a-like machines.
For the data gathered below, it took 3 of us quite some time to gather all of the information, some of which are not even available from the company’s product page and left Steve testing the machine using his tools.
In summary, the machine most suited for you depends on your specific health concerns and what you want to achieve using the machine. It is very important to know that not all machines are made equally, even if they look the same on the outside. Due to confidentiality that we honor amongst the brands, we will not post our detailed finding on the site, but will gladly help you choose a machine worthy of owning. The best way to decide on a machine is to let us know what is important to you so we can advise you the best machine for achieving your goals.
