WBVReviewed.com Machine Review

We finally had the opportunity to test out the new Elite 300 by Vmax Fitness. In our previous reviews of their dual motion and single motion machines, we know they design different machines that can work in a multitude of environments and professional or commercial venues. The Elite 300 is a commercial grade oscillation (pivotal) machine. The platform moves side to side like a teeter totter which mimics and simulates the human body’s way of walking. It is quite similar to the Tectonic M2.0 or VibraWav Pro, with some subtle changes.

Similar to both the Tectonic M2.0 and VibraWav Pro, the Elite 300 measures 28″ wide by 25″ deep by 58″ tall. Instead of a single column used for the handlebars like all their dual motor machines, Vmax uses the two metal pole system that attaches itself to the base, and the two columns being joined together by a metal horizontal beam which makes it one of the strongest handle bars available in a vibration machine. A horizontal handle bar is mounted just above this beam and can be used by the user for greater balance and support when they are doing a squat or other exercises that require the knees to bend. Two more handles come out about 9″ from the vertical poles just above the beam and this makes up the entire handlebar system. As with the other two machines, these handlebars are the best industrial strength handlebars you can find on any vibration machine and can easily handle 70-100% of a person’s weight. Try a tricep dip on the machine and you’ll know and feel that the machine will not give–it is that solid. The Elite 300 weights approximately 130 lbs. It is well grounded to the floor and once you’ve set it up, remains grounded to the floor unless you put the machine to its highest setting and you are not standing on the platform (highly not recommended for any machine). Just make sure to never tip, push, or pull the machine completely forward or backwards. Rear wheels are mounted on the back and relocating the machine to another location is as easy as tipping it onto its wheels and rolling it away. You still want to have at two people doing relocating it, however.

The control panel is a nice light blue and green and spans from one end of the machine to the other end. This gives the wide and large look and feel of the Elite 300. There are a total of 12 buttons on the control panel. On the left and right side are 4 quick buttons aligned in a diagonal. The left buttons controls the time that you want to run the machine–10, 8, 5, or 3 minutes, and the right buttons controls the speed–High, Med, Low, Auto. These are essentially shortcut buttons without manually adjusting it with the + or – buttons in the center of the control panel. The Auto program automatically changes the speed of the machine for 10 minutes and is the only pre-programmed routine available. 4 other buttons–Time +, Time -, Start/Stop, Speed +, and Speed – are located in the center of the panel. The control panel functions and layout are nearly identical to the Tectonic M2.0 and VibraWav Pro machines with different graphics.

The machine’s speed is controlled by its frequency in the Elite 300. The frequency is adjustable in 0.1 Hz increments so there is a variety of speeds you can choose from and will definitely tailor to a multitude of users. It begins at 5.0 Hz and goes up to 30 Hz, with a total of 260 speed or frequency combinations. Similar with the other machines, it uses a 2.0 HP motor that produces an output level of 1000 watt of power. It is only second to the PULSER’s 1100 watt motor! Because of the higher power output, this is one of those machines that will support users upto about 440 lbs and will have no problems lifting them and not slowing down–always producing the perfect G-force necessary for building lean muscle and healthy bones.

The new addition to the 2014 model is the change over to Velcro instead of metals clips for the handlestraps. Similar with the PULSER, the new Elite 300 uses the Velcro style straps and will last significantly longer then the clips, which can break over time with wear as you put them into the notches of the machine. Now, all you do is slide the straps through the dedicated metal bars mounted in the platform, and fasten the velcro. This is a welcome change as the clips weren’t warranted before and finding replacement clips were quite a pain.

The Elite 300 is an excellent oscillation style machine that you can easily use in a professional or commercial grade setting. Home users looking for a little extra juice in their vibration machine will find that this machine will fit the bill quite well as it has one of the most powerful Oscillation motors utilized in a vibration system at 1000 watt. Furthermore, users requiring an extra stable system with one of the strongest handlebar systems available need look no further, the Elite 300 will deliver.
